Joyn Legal Mauritius was created in April 2017 and on 1 September 2017 obtained the first GLAS (Global Legal Advisory Services) licence in the Republic of Mauritius issued by the Financial Services Commission. The office is composed of six lawyers, two of whom are partners.
Our team provides advice that is mainly focused on the law of the Republic of Mauritius and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as well as on wealth tax in numerous African countries and international structuring for companies operating in Africa.
We also provide assistance to Belgian residents and foreign banks on the declaration of the Tax on Stock Exchange Transactions (Taxe sur Opérations de Bourse – TOB / Beurstaks) and the Tax on Securities Accounts (Taxe sur les Comptes-Titres – TCT / Taks op de Effectenrekeningen – TER ).
