Jérôme Sohier has been admitted to the Brussels bar in 1992, and he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, for the Public Law course (MA 1 Law - jointly with M. M. UYTTENDAELE) since 2013 and for the Administrative Law course (BA 3 Law at the Mons site - jointly with M. A. VANDEBURIE) since 2013, and at the Solvay Business School for the Public Law course (BA 1 Sc. Economiques - jointly with M. P. VANDERNOOT) since 1993. He is also Vice-President of the Centre de droit public de l’U.L.B. since 2002 (and director of the Centre de droit public, from 1999 to 2002) and a member of the Commission d'accès aux documents administratifs de la Communauté française (CADA). He is certified as a specialist lawyer in constitutional law and administrative law by the Conseil de l’Ordre des avocats of the Brussels Bar, and is also a member of the Commission de droit public of the Brussels Bar. He previously (1985-1992) occupied the post of secrétaire d’administration at the Ministry of Justice, appointed to the Bureau d’études du Secrétariat général (from 1985 to 1992).
