Our department has developed considerable experience in estate law and assists its clients in the event of a dispute in this matter at the pre-litigation stage and before the courts.

It also regularly advises its clients in regard to filiation and adoption, divorce, parental authority, child accommodation and food contributions.

In cases related to estate law and family law, the Belgian courts often have to apply foreign law in accordance with different European regulations and the Belgian Code of International Law.

In this context, our department has acquired substantial experience in the management of French-Belgian cases.

With long practical experience in the protection of vulnerable adults, it can also help its clients with an application for judicial or non-judicial protection for a family member or for the client himself (administration of assets and of the person).

Our department is also active in the law governing mental illness, and regularly on call in relation to the Nixon procedure.
